A one of a kind Mexican fire opal pendant set in 925 sterling silver, cut as a smooth cabochon with a glowing matrix background.

The story in this stone

This stone is bright orange with a deep, almost fiery base color, and when you turn it in the light you catch flashes of green, yellow and red dancing across the surface. The light brown matrix wraps around part of the cabochon, giving it that raw, earthy look that only comes from natural cantera opal. It sits in a simple, smooth bezel setting that lets the stone be the whole focus, with an oxidized sterling silver bail at the top.
